Ponteland Community Primary School was inspected by Ofsted on 8 November 2023, with the report published on 12 December 2023.
We were delighted that the inspection recognised the strength of our school and the experiences we provide for our children.

We are particularly proud that Behaviour and Attitudes were judged Outstanding. Creating a calm, purposeful and respectful school where children feel safe, behave well and are ready to learn is fundamental to everything we do at PCPS.

Our Early Years Nursery
Our provision for younger children is also separately registered with Ofsted as Ponteland Community Primary School Nursery.
The nursery has its own Ofsted registration because of the age range and childcare provision we now offer. This sits alongside our main school Ofsted registration and enables us to provide our Early Years offer from 9 months old.
Parents can view the nursery’s separate registration and, when available, any future inspection reports through the official Ofsted website.

Ofsted Parent View
Ofsted Parent View gives parents and carers the opportunity to tell Ofsted what they think about their child’s school.
